Adopted and Rehomed Animals

Tails of Aloha not only does Therapy Dog work, we also do volunteering at shelters and other events. Our goal is to help as much animals as we can to find good homes and to give them the happiness they deserve. These are the one’s that we have helped find their new forever family.

October 2009, we had our first adoption from Neko House. Christie, a member of Tails of Aloha volunteers her time at the OahuSPCA and also helped out with the spay/neuter program with Cat Friends.? She’s a very sweet and caring? person who fell in love with our two kittens, Yuki (right) and Momo (left) , now they live with her in her home.

November 2009, Coco a 6 year old beautiful gentle Mastiff needed to find a good home.? Before I could even list her as needing a home, she got adopted by one of the employees at Maluhia Care Home. She will have a wonderful home with a friendly Rottweiler, they will be able to play and be lifetime companions.

Kirby was surrendered from the windward side and?now has a wonderful home?on?the leeward side.
Many thanks to former board member Liz Hawkins for picking Kirby up.
Kirby now lives with another dog who is much older. To say Kirby is spoiled is an understatement, he sleeps on the bed with his humans.

With the assistance of Carolun Macina of Young Brothers Hawaii, Tails was able to find the perfect homes for Mana and Nani with Aaron and Hilda Miyashiro. Just look at the smiles on Camryn and Evan! Mana and Nani are the perfect fit for this wonderful, happy, and caring family.
